A 6-Day Journey into the Heart of Uganda
The Taste of East Africa — Uganda is your entry point into the Africa Safari East Africa experience family. In six days, you will travel from Kampala through Jinja on the Nile to the highlands of Sipi Falls and the plains of Soroti, encountering communities, culture, landscape and life that most visitors never reach.
This is not a standard safari. It is a human journey — led by Daniel Okiror, facilitated through Akogo House, and grounded in the Ubuntu values that shape everything Africa Safari does.

Journey at a Glance
- Day 1: Arrival Kampala — welcome dinner, orientation, Ubuntu opening session
- Day 2: Kampala → Jinja — Nile boat, source of the Nile, evening at lodge
- Day 3: Jinja → Sipi — Sipi Falls walk, local coffee experience, highland lodge
- Day 4: Sipi → Soroti — Ere Iteso cultural visit, Emorimor community, Akogo House Soroti
- Day 5: Soroti — community immersion, music session, reflection circle
- Day 6: Departure day — closing session, Soroti → Kampala/Entebbe
Group Size
Maximum 12 participants. Minimum 5 participants required for departure.
Price
€950 per person. Includes all programme costs above. Break-even at 5 participants — every additional participant strengthens the journey for everyone.
This journey is the starting point of the Africa Safari East Africa experience family. Many participants go on to the 12-day Uganda–Kenya flagship journey or a Live & Learn placement.
